Imagine going through life without anyone by your side. Nobody to be there for you when life gets tough. For some people, that’s a reality. Now, for a moment, imagine going through life WITH somebody by your side. Somebody to walk with you every step of the way when life gets tough. That’s the way we are meant to live. We weren’t made to live life alone, but in community.
Our sponsorship project invites people within the community to reach out and help those that can’t help themselves. This could be people suffering from homelessness, mental health, or alcohol/drug addictions, etc. Everyone is worth helping and everyone deserves a seat at the table.
When a person or project is sponsored, funds will go directly to us at LUA. We then will allocate those funds to whatever project that person is working on or striving towards, whether it be for education, a project that will provide them income or for housing. It also could include helping those in need who struggle financially.
People can make a one time donation or sponsor monthly. While every little bit helps and is just as important , we encourage a monthly sponsorship as it will help us in our day to day efforts to make sure these people receive the help they deserve not only in the present but for years to come
